the end of unlimtied

Today i read an story that the MTA is going to limit the Unlimited Metrocard to 90 swipes per month, which sadly is becoming the norm. Just a few weeks ago, ATT Wireless got rid of the're unlimited data plans. Both the MTA and ATT said that it would only effect the heaviest users, both hinting at "abusive" but in reality, both companies are spinning the fact that they just want more revenue. This is a shady way of doing business, raise the price of the Metrocard, but don't put a limit on an unlimited card, it's completely unacceptable. At the end of the day, psychologically, people will ride the subway less, and therefore, spend less at stores, which pay for the MTA in tax revenue, which will also diminish ridership, ultimately causeing the cycle that put the subway into so much trouble in the 70's and 80's.

BOO MTA
